ICE doesn’t review family court records or dismissals from prior employers before hiring new agents. It apparently doesn’t even require mental health evaluations, interview current or former partners, or review agents’ social media accounts... despite carefully combing immigrants’ posts to find reasons to deport them.
Also the link states that many of these agents had more than 20 years on the force and that these issues have been allowed to go on and they are now calling increased accountablity as crimes committed by ice are growing worse.
