Status of Toad Blanche confirmation vote

Todd Blanche's confirmation vote is uncertain as he faces opposition from Democrats and some Republicans. Republican Senators Thom Tillis and John Cornyn have expressed reservations about his nomination, with Tillis stating that he would not vote to confirm Blanche unless he meets with Jeffrey Epstein's victims. Blanche has met with the victims, but they have criticized the meeting as "a box-checking exercise.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on Blanche's nomination in the coming weeks. If all Democrats oppose Blanche's nomination, he will need to secure the vote of every Republican senator on the committee for his nomination to move forward.

@KunsanVeteran Time was when such a serious ethical and profession complaint would have been enough to torpedo a nomination instantly. That we are even in doubt that this will sink him is enough to show how bad things have got. Trumps administration only pays lip service to the rules when it suits them..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman You are absolutely correct. None of tRUMP’s top lawyers even reach the level of “average”; frequently turning in improperly prepared briefs riddled with typos and even fabricated references to prior cases (sometimes fictitious cases altogether).

Look at all of his lawyers who have been disbarred. Pirro is said to be inebriated in court at times.

FAUX News should be indebted to Demented Donnie, though, for hiring away all their drunkards…
@KunsanVeteran Given how absurd & disrespectful TOAD’s meeting with the Epstein survivors went, I cannot believe that Tillis will be satisfied with that.

There were new possible ethics referrals today for the TOAD. And this represents a real challenge for Demented Donnie—to continue his streak, how will he ever find another lawyer that’s even worse than TOAD???
