New polling out of Georgia shows Democrats with a lead in both the Senate and Gubernatorial races. The AARP poll shows Democratic senator Jon Ossoff with a 9-point lead over Republican challenger Congressman Mike Collins. The poll shows Ossoff with a massive 20-point lead over Collins when it comes to independent voters, and an even larger 30-point advantage among voters ages 18 to 49. The Morning Joe panel discusses what the poll says about the midterms and how Republicans may be underestimating just how purple the state actually is.

I lived in Georgia nearly 40 years and retired there before we built our home in Alabama. Some of the people I used to work with (who ain't liberal btw) are saying a lot of people around there are fed up with Trump. That is MTG's former district.

I just hope their disgust is enough to swing their votes.

Ossoff is the real deal. Crazy smart, poised, connects with people and is not down with Americans being lied to and screwed.
Don't like the talk about this being a bellweather though. Polls this far out mean nothing and ANYTHING on the table the dissuades people from voting, like 'he's going to win anyway,' is not wise. This turnout needs to be record breaking.

@Ynotisay Even if Ossoff is corrupted by the system. You have a chance to vote for someone LESS corrupt than the Trump backed candidate. And you should do it..😷
