ODA was a popular Kosovan rock band formed in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia, in the 1980s. The band gained widespread regional fame in the 1980s with nostalgic hits such as "Zemrën e lamë peng" and "Era". Their sound blended rock with the local musical traditions of Kosovo.
Due to political tensions and imminent war ODA was disbanded as the members began to flee in the early 90s. Yugoslavia was no more, and conflict tore the region apart.
The lead singer Dukagjin Lipa ended up moving with his wife to London in 1992.There he began a new career in marketing, and communications.
The couple eventually settled down and had three kids, Rina, Gjin, and Dua.
