South Carolina would be a good State for him to win! Just saying that it's pretty close there, compared to other southern states.
Yet residency requirements just wouldn't allow him to even run. 😞
His show was in New York. That's a long way to travel, especially in the winter. May was when the show ended. Just not enough time to run even run.

@DeWayfarer The funniest thing is, if you remember his first solo show, The Colbert Report, it presented his character as an over the top exaggerated conservative. He was hilarious, but what was amazing was that folks like Bill Reilly were praising him ! They obviously hadn’t seen him on The Daily Show and didn’t initially realize that the “Report" was high satire.
