Meet The Press - Today's Edition
I wanted to get Meet The Press take on the Lindsey Graham situation. So here it is (my version, for the sake of brevity)
Meet the press (MTP): we were scheduled to have Senator Graham lie on the show today, but instead, we will have President Trump and Netanyahu lie instead.
MTP: President Trump, when did you speak to Sen. Graham last?
Trump: after 7PM last night, a few minutes before he died. He told me he was going to be on your show today, and that's why I'm here. He told me how important it is to pass the Save America Act and how hard he's working on it.
I told him to get some rest, because he literally called me as he got off a long and exhausting flight from Ukraine. He said he was a bit tired, but he wants to Save America. Trump said he got a call after midnight informing him of what happened, and he was like: I just spoke with him...
What's surprising here is that Trump did not yell at the MTP and call them radical left, America haters and fake news, as he does opportunity he gets.
He did not want to answer any questions about Iran because, you know, Graham is the only issue for now.
Trump then bragged about himself for a while and how great he's doing in Hermouz.
Trump logs off and in comes Netanyahu.
Netanyahu: Graham was our friend and he was a great guy.
MTP: Do you have any comments on Israeli settlers pointing weapons at Representative Ro Khana and detaining him for several hours in the West Bank and the IDF helping the settlers.
Netanyahu: we have the only democracy in the Middle East. Bye now and Graham was our friend.
Me: but you did not address the quetion.
MTP: thank you for your comments.
Ro Khana: I now understand what it feels to be a brown person in America.
