Trump Presidency May Be Put on Hold...

Given that Donald Trump’s attorneys argued the E. Jean Carroll case was still technically before the Supreme Court because he asked the high court to reconsider the refusal to hear the case, I think I will ask the Supreme Court to reconsider Trump v. Anderson. SCOTUS had overturned a Colorado Supreme Court that would have enforced the 14th Amendment's provision that would have barred Trump from being on the ballot for having supported an insurrection. Since other states were looking to the Supreme Court for guidance, Trump would have likely been barred from seeking the presidency a second time had SCOTUS ruled differently.

Using the same "logic" that Trump's legal team is using in arguing against paying E. Jean Carroll (that he "faces unrecoverable loss"), I'll just say that the United States would suffer "irreparable harm" if Trump is allowed to continue using his presidential power while SCOTUS decides whether or not to reconsider the case. 😜
