I listened to the CNN interview with the victim this morning as I was running an "errand" and there's no way Platner was not having trouble understanding what consent means.

If I was on a jury and the woman was claiming that someone sexually abused her years ago my verdict would be "NOT GUILTY." The fact that she sat on her butt for years before making the charge shows that she is either lying about it or that she enjoyed it when it happened. In either case it denies the man to the right to have had a speedy trial for any crimes he might have committed against her.

The Dems had a real chance to take this seat. He claims he's innocent. I don't know if he is or not. But several women have come out with serious allegations against him. He needs to drop out of the race and address his problems before he seeks office again.

Impropriety is impropriety. That should be the issue.

It's sad there is little legal reckoning on impropriety.

Rape is just as much a impropriety as sexting. Either should be a disqualifying legal suite for politicians.
