Their contention has no constitutional or legal foundation. Most people, when they think through the consequences logically, will conclude that their advocacy is morally repugnant and socially unsound. Their cause has no merit.

Saying only white Europeans can be American because white Europeans founded the country is like saying only descendants of the founders can be citizens, which confuses who created a nation with who belongs to it.
