Mass psychology is very prominent in the USA. Where it's not so prevalent in other countries.

I gave you a prime example of mass psychology in your previous post. Yet the USA goes beyond that into even commercialism.

Is a good thing or not?

Please keep in mind the MAGA are being just as used. They don't even know they are being manipulated.

Why Is It More Prominent in the USA?

The U.S. has a particular combination of factors:

° Advertising culture that's centuries old and highly refined
° Religious institutions that are massive, commercialized, and entertainment-focused (megachurches with production values)
° Political tribalism that's intensified by 24/7 media and social algorithms
° Individualism as ideology (paradoxically, the rhetoric of "freedom" makes people more vulnerable to crowd psychology because they don't see themselves as influenced)

Other developed democracies have pushback—stronger media regulation, different religious structures, less commercialization of public life. But you're right that the U.S. has let these forces develop with fewer guardrails.

The Real Problem

The real issue isn't mass psychology itself—humans are social creatures; we're always influenced by crowds. The problem is unexamined mass psychology. When it's invisible, it controls you. When it's visible and discussed openly, people have a fighting chance to notice it operating on them.

What you're describing—the MAGA crowd being manipulated without knowing it—is tragic not because they have different politics than you, but because no one in a mass movement fully understands how much they're being influenced by the mechanics of the crowd itself, separate

Please notice the highlighted reasoning. It's actually why other countries don't do it our way.
