A great result. I hope Andy can translate what he achieved in Manchester into wider Government.

Also interesting to see Reform not taking responsibility for fielding a woeful candidate. A responsible party would own the result & learn the lessons for the next one.

@Thinkingdeeper To quote Marina Hyde in the Guardian, Reform's genius plan is now coming into view: field terrible candidates, then lose.

I think we have no need to fear Farage anymore.

@Waveney I don't think "Your Party" ever made much progress.

"Restore" - is the one I was trying to recall; basically a hard-Right outfit.

The Green Party had been around for quite a long time, mainly campaigning on environmentakl matters but perhaps more "green" in those than they'd like to think. At least they do have political experience and are less of a narcissist cult than Your Party, Reform and Restore seem to be.

Essentially it's just changing the football manager, while having underperforming players
Very true,

@ArtieKat yes, but there are 400 to choose from.

How long can Starmer hang this out?
Have the cabinet the guts to desert him now?
Waveney · M
@peterlee I honestly think Starmer will see the way the wind is blowing and agree to an orderly transition of power in September.

You people are so naive,
Waveney · M
@ididntknow care to explain why? Or is this another uniparty lecture?
ididntknow · 56-60, M
@Waveney some people see it, some people never will
Waveney · M
@ididntknow So in other words, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about :)
