Proud of the people of Makerfield!

By electing Andy Burnham as MP, and pushing reform into a massively distant second place, they have shown that the vast majority of the British people are not massive racist w*nkpuffins; they just want someone who can make things better for everyone.

I hope Burnham can do this!

@jshm2 I’m not happy that he’s apparently going to keep Mahmood as Home Secretary.

But a good manager can turn a team of underperformers into World Cup winners (so to speak).

PS. If there is a leadership challenge there is no doubt at all that he will win.

@jshm2 At least we had a credible party of long-standing win, not one of the upstart far-wingers. (Reform on the Right, Your Party on the Left, and that lot well to the Right of Farage's Ffarago, and whose name I keep forgetting but who seems based on the USA's ICE.)

In that regard although the arguing over Sir Keir Starmer is unhealthy it is really more Labour Party "domestics" than inter-Party wrangling.

I have not seen or hear much about Jeremy Corbyn's hard-Left "Your Party" for a while now. Does it still exist?
