Religion? - NO, Political commonsense? - YES

I had occasion to peruse the Pope's Encyclical which was published on May 25, 2026. It's an appeal to the world to use Artificial Intelligence to benefit the works and thoughts of humanity. It makes sense, and the underlying statement seems to be - " Stop and think - there are alternatives to what AI is being directed to do."

@GoFish So be it your loss! Anyone who closes their mind to any outside influence on the basis of bias has sealed themselves into a 'fools paradise' - keep looking inward and you'll readily identify the fool.
I read MAGA 'stuff' although I find it full of twisted truths - yet, I gain the knowledge that there are people out there who do not know truth from fiction - Thus, I learn whose words not to trust.
Evil people say evil things in twisted ways as to make it more difficult to detect the level of evil they're supporting.

Vatican has to have something to speak against, and like cowards they chose the easiest thing: a robot.

@jshm2 Thanks for noticing! I saw that but I refrained from passing that judgement. No doubt there's a 'pointed' message and we all know where the arrow is directed.
