I do not trust the cloud and this kind of shit is why.

I'll agree with you that no one should trust the cloud. Yet for a different reason.

Even your own content, no matter what it is, belongs to you in the cloud, or even on any file sever service. That is apart of the user agreement. Even on this site itself, which just happens to be in the cloud now.

I generally have backups of everything that I believe worth saving. Sometimes multiple backups.

Call me paranoid! I even have whole movies backed up. I can convert them anytime I wish. 🤷🏻‍♂
