"J6 Traitors"? You really think that the majority of people who were at that protest (regardless if it was a secret service trap) are traitors? And its laughable you think the people they tricked into going into a public building during office hours will get that money when they are being used as narrative pawns

Duh. They betrayed America the Republic in order to create a new fascist country. They failed, it was an embarrassingly stupid attempt, but it was still treason.

@gol979 Who tricked them? I'm dying to know.

Actually.. You are incorrect. Although that is close to th official version. This all started with Trump suing the govt for $!0 Billion, which got laughed out of court. So he shovelled the money out the side door into a "fund" to benefit these Jan 6 people. All good so far. But the board that administers the fund is put in place by the President and can be removed by the President and replaced for ANY REASON and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can any criminal or civil liability be attached to any misuse, loss, fraud or disappearance for any other reason to ANYONE. And all that is actually written into the wording. So should "The Board" decide to spent a Billion dollars on a thank you banquet for the Jan 6 People in the newly built Eat Wing and have it catered by Trump catering, it can and no one can even look at where the money went.. And I believe Marco Rubio is currently on that board. But I may be incorrect on that point.😷

Surprisingly there's some real push back from Republicans on this. The Senate was supposed to vote today on funding ICE and Border Patrol and they're putting it off until June to focus on this. They had a closed door meeting with the Justice Dept. and from what I read they left having more questions than answers. The legality of it is obviously in question but the fact the Republicans are publicly saying it smells is interesting.
