The most expensive House primary in history in terms of ad spending, totaling more than $32 million — largely dominated by Trump-aligned groups and pro-Israel organizations, is focused on demonizing Thomas Massie.

Massie has been on the wrong side of Trump but on the right side of his constituents.

Trump has called Massie a “pathetic LOSER,” a “lightweight” and a “sick Wacko.”

Trump likes overwhelming force to achieve quick results. Taking out Thomas Massie is going to be like taking out Nicolas Maduro: in and out. May 19 is the strike date.

Massie is popular in his district, so taking him out with an unknown like Gallrein might not be easy. This race will determine how meaningful Trump's support is. If Massie wins, Trump's control of Congress will take a hit. If Gallrein wins, Congress will become more of an arm of the Trump organization than it is already. If a toady like Boebert is persona non grata for only supporting Trump 99% of the time, nothing short of total submission will be tolerated.

Trump's support has nothing to do with anything. The support come from the political machine, not the people. I wonder why Trump doesn't use the Samson Option instead of using negative ads to take Massie out.
