Why do both anti-Semites and defenders of Israel insist on conflating the Jewish people and the State of Israel?

It is NOT Anti-Semitic to object to the murder of Palestinians - to their maiming, their torture, their kidnapping, their incarceration, to the destruction of their society, to the occupation, Apartheid, and indeed Genocide they are subjected to.

And it is crazy to even have to ENTERTAIN the argument that it is hatred and extremism.

The REAL extremism is supporting what Israel (not the Jewish people, but ISRAEL) has done to the Palestinian people.

Prove me wrong.

When one says....Israel committed genocide.........its fact.....not prejudice. The "strawman argument" is what always comes next. TOTALLY off subject.......out of design....... to nullify your point and put you on the defensive to end the point of what was said in the beginning by perverting the c onversation.

One says........Israel committed genocide. The strawman response.......... "then you support killing Jews?" Or...."so you hate Jews?" Or....."you wouldn't say that if you weren't antisemitic."

Totally off point...,.........nothing to do with what you said.....untrue..........but its the classic response to get you to defend yourself instead of make your original point.............which is true,. Like "trump sucks and is completely corrupt"............and the classic MAGA response is........."so you don't like America?"

When you get that kind of comeback..........they are not proving you wrong. They can't. Don't fall for the strawman.
