Thing is even I recognize the founding fathers actually did want a Republic and never a democracy. The major difference among the founding fathers was the type of nasty republic. One was no better than the other.
One wanted control given to the states, the other control to federal government. Neither want the people to have control.
That is the dividing line this SCOTUS has taken. This SCOTUS would never interpret the constitution in any other way. SCOTUS is always for a Republic one way or the other. Never for a democracy.

@DeWayfarer If James Madison isn't rolling in his grave at how we're managing this nation we're failing. we must disappoint the framer. I want it to look nothing like he envisioned.
