why Republicans should be feminists

Everybody, I have a really hot take, and I know a lot of Republicans—or in this case, probably more conservative Republicans—are gonna be mad at me, but keep in mind: yes, I am progressive. I am also a Republican. No, I'm not a conservative, and no, I'm not a Trump conservative. I do not like Trump. But this post is not even about that.

Today, I wanna talk about why—and here's the hot take—why Republicans should be feminists. Now, before you get on me, let me throw out some statistics here. Recent polling and studies indicate a growing trend of negative attitudes, low trust, and critical views of men among young women, particularly in the UK. A 2026 report suggested that among people aged 18–30, about 21% of young women hold an unfavorable view of men, and that scares me, because if you know me, I love women.

Yes, I'm a guy, but I like to hang out with women. A lot of them are my best friends. They're my sisters, and I don't think this is a good thing. Men and women should be best friends. And I'm not even talking about romantically—though that counts too if you're into that—but I'm talking more about just friendship in general.

And if you know me, I've been very outspoken on this website about human trafficking and why we should be against it—why we should use our healthcare to help women and children who have been human trafficked and give them free human resources, whether that would be therapy, hospital work, whatever, and also use that healthcare to help put the perpetrators in prison and face dire consequences.

My point is: we need to start seeing women as people—and not as objects, not as resources, but as people!

We need to start doing that bud?
Maybe it's a new concept to you as a Republican but believe or not, a whole lot of men who aren't have been on that path their whole lives.

@Ynotisay what do you mean?? and and I'm not saying all men what I am saying is men should be more Progressive and the reason why I bring up Republican is because I am a republican again just to bring it up again cuz I feel like a lot of people misunderstand me I am not a conservative nor am I a trump conservative I am a progressive Republican! aka Teddy Roosevelt!

@1930sfan But you're not Teddy Roosevelt. A man who was President when electricity in homes was rare. This is today. If you vote Republican you're an enemy of truth, integrity and equity. I didn't draw that line in the sand but it's now there and I'm not going to ignore it.

@1930sfan You voted for Trump. And "it." So I see you as an enemy of the United States. And decency.
And you think you're going to "take back the party" someday dude? Come on now. Let's choose reality, huh? Makes life easier.
