Agree or not. This administration now is breaking all the norms established earlier by Obamians and Bidenians.

It is above Republicans vs democrat bullfight. Here, The Tiger comes.

Norms previously expected in a civilised society have truly been broken by the current US administration. Whether you think that’s a good thing or a bad thing or very much depends on your own moral outlook on the use of blatant lies and breaking promises as political tools. One thing is certain: these tools are not only used by one party.

@FreddieUK you want your meat to reach $1000, other people don't

@DanielsASJ You also said:

@Kwek00 The job which you do for say $8000 a month, the same job could be done by someone asking $2000 because in his country $2000 is very much, though with Low IQ or low standards. He is hired, you are Fired and that is Free Market economy. That is globalisation

... you are literally making a case for higher prices as a result of wanting to be self-sufficient. And now you are also telling people that globalisation, the system that puts people at work for lower wages which create lower prices, creates higher prices. 🤷‍♂ Maybe you should choose a lane, and not trying to have your cake and eat it too.

@Kwek00 Your whole conception is flawed according to my views. Industries hire cheap for work - > saves them money - > That money goes in their belly and not to the consumer. You don't believe me? Let's come back to the example of Meat. They have hired cheap labor essentially. Yes? Now, Are they transferring the profit to ordinary people or Are they posting an increase in their profit margins in their internal reports and that profit never reaches common men. Maybe politicians get the money which they call as political funding.

@DanielsASJ
Man... why would they transfer the profit to ordinary people? Is that there job?
However, lower wages makes them produce at lower costs. If several entities produce at lower costs and they bring their meat to the market, the meat will also have lower prices. You as a consumer will see that when you buy meat on the market. (This ofcourse only happens, when there is competition)

If the wages goes up, the price of the product goes up. 🤷‍♂
In other words, if you start producing stuff in the USA, at the wage needed for labor to pay for their costs of daily life, the prices of those products go up. 🤷‍♂

I think you missed the point of my comment, which was a question about morality in politics. I pay more for certain foods because I know the workers get paid a decent wage. I am fortunate to be able to do that, I know.

Read the middle paragraph and try to concentrate more on numbers like 4 and 85

@DanielsASJ You seem to be conflating my responses and those of @Kwek00.

@FreddieUK It's okay... this is a really difficult conversation for Daniel.
