HUD Section 8 housing crack down good or bad
If you can think of some of i am sure many points i have missed please mention them in the comments.
Bad-
1. Some people will be put out for not doing the paperwork or mistakes on paperwork.
2. Landlords may have empty units so their income may ho down.
3. Some will be made homeless.
Good-
1. People living in a deceased persons unit will be evicted
2. People who are charging rent to another person who should not be living there both will be evicted
3. People who are not eligible will be taken off the program.
4. Landlords who now have empty units will need to reduce rates to rent units to low income. (When gov pays the full bill this creats a increase in unit price)
5. People who have lied to receive benefits will be caught.
6. Generational families who have lived in the same units will have to prove they need the financial help.
