Hegseth testified today that the administration does not have to seek authorization from Congress, as required by law 60 days after starting a war, because the war has been on hiatus since Trump announced a cease fire.

He said it with a straight face.

The deadline is tomorrow.

He refused to answer the question: will you obey a Trump order and dispatch the military to states' elections offices.
