@DeWayfarer Your concern is not grounded in experience or reality, I'm afraid to say this time. I do listen to you, you are often a guide worthy of talking me out of some of my worst instincts but in this case in particular there's a lot of hype and fear that Millionaires will leave on the basis of Tax policy and yet there's a large body of research that says even if a few leave the concern s massively overblown as most stay. We really have to stop this kind of economics where we don't do something because of what may happen and instead experiment and see what actually does happen. Billionaire tax flight concerns are in one word: "overblown." The data just isn't there, the fear and anxiety is, but the Data isn't showing any rational reason to panic. Billionaires threatening to leave if taxes go up are a lot like all the people who say they'll move to Canada if X candidate wins, all bluster, all bark no bite. if you'd like I could link you to some of the research.

@DeWayfarer I yearn to see another housing bubble blow up, one so big if the government even tried to bail anyone out the dollar would be metaphorical toilet paper in value so Uncle Sam can't step in, and every bank involved across the board fails with no one to help them. Think about it, huge fire sale on housing. Fuck yes. Seems pertinent since most of that money is in housing and real estate from China.
