Towards the end when she says that if she opens her mouth she's either a communist or a rabble rouser. Pretty interesting documentary and the title fits even today but it's interesting looking at the war back then from this point of view.

I get the point of the title. Why should black people fight the Vietnamese when in their own country they don't have full rights? But it's also kinda misleading because Vietnam has lots of racism too, then and now. It's like when Jesse Owens applauded Nazi Germany for treating him better than America did, not taking into account that he was only visiting there, he wouldn't have had full rights in Nazi Germany either.

@BohoBabe I honestly agree with you but I think the title of the documentary when put into context of systemic racism works well for what is going on in the states though. It does pack a punch, somewhat romanticized but the point is correct overall.

As for the rest, that's honestly a good point, I wish I knew what to say except I agree. It's kinda like Ghandi. You know for the longest time I admired him and then found out that he was horrible to women and upholded the same caste system.

It's the same with monks, I like the idea of monks but female monks have long since been discriminated against, there's a long standing battle between females in the organization and males led cultures.

@SatanBurger Yeah, I think that was the real reason for the title. Having the hard R in there definitely packs a punch, gets everyone's attention.

Regardless of whether you agree with the lyrics, let's be real, they used a racial slur to get attention.

Ghandi is one of those historical figures that is worse the more you learn about. He fought for Indian rights, but threw black people under the bus, saying they should be below Indians and white people in the caste system. He also supported South African apartheid. And yeah, there's a good amount of evidence that he was a rapist.
The modern version of this is Democrats condemning racism, then funding Israel.
