"Death to America" (Persian: مرگ بر آمریکا, Marg bar Âmrikâ) is a political slogan primarily popularized by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the first Supreme Leader of Iran, following the 1979 Islamic Revolution. It put an end to two decades of American control of Iran under the Shah. On 31 March 1979, a referendum was held on whether to transition from a government of monarchy to an Islamic republic. The referendum was approved by a massive margin of 99.31%. On 4 November 1979, Iranian students chanting "Death to America" seized US embassy personnel, labeling the embassy a "den of spies". 52 hostages were held for 444 days until January 1981.
It's the same deal wherever the US was thrown out. Vietnamese chanted "Death to America" as Americans scrambled onto helicopters from Saigon's US embassy root-top in April 1975; similar shit-show in Afghanistan on 20 August, 2021.
Now, you tell me why do Americans strut their stuff in other people's backyard for? Is it to get them to say Death to America?

I know its only words.. But sometimes they are important.. Its only "Borrowing" if you pay it back. If you dont, there is another word for it. Its "Theft."😷
