Vance issues warning to Pope Leo. Vance said it was wrong for the Pope to criticize those who wield the sword.

In sparring with Pope Leo on theology, Vance said it was wrong to criticize those who wield the sword because Europe would never have been liberated during WWII without the U.S. military.

Does anyone, especially a practicing Christian, thinks this American hillbilly has a point?

The only perspective from which Vance has a point is the narrow perspective where he is on the side of the angel to start with. In this particular case, he is wrong. The roles are reversed this time out and Vance is on the side of the Fascists..
And as I recall (from my reading) The Pope at the time of WW2 was later criticized for not doing enough to condemn Hitler and the Nazis.😷
