In sparring with Pope Leo on theology, Vance said it was wrong to criticize those who wield the sword because Europe would never have been liberated during WWII without the U.S. military.

Does anyone, especially a practicing Christian, thinks this American hillbilly has a point?

The sword has indeed swung both ways. There are losses on either side not to mention the colossal devastation expected on the rest of the world.
