Of course it's possible for an ear to heal, if it was lightly nicked, not having a part blown off, or bitten off as in Holyfield's case.
It was not hit by a bullet, it nicked by a piece of plexiglass.
One person who was sitting behind him was killed.
It's crystal clear the assassination attempt was staged. Perhaps only a few people knew it was, but it was staged nonetheless. It's just not possible for an ear to heal like that.
