Trump's war in Iran is going to sweep us all into the gutter.

Oil prices have started to come down for a worrisome reason. It's like the tide going out along the seashore, an ominous phenomenon heralding the approach of a tsunami that wipes out everything. The aftermath will be a global economic wasteland.

The largest oil shock in history caused prices to surge. Now they're so high that they have inducing "demand destruction." As a result of the acute energy commodity shortages stemming from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, oil appears to have reached a point where it is now so expensive that overseas businesses and households have begun curbing investment and consumption. That means slower economic growth that is expected to bring about a depression far worse than the last one: The Great Depression in 1929.

It would take more than an economic depression. During the great depression unemployment
was around 25% sure that is high, but I myself would not be part of the 25% I would continue
to work and provide.

That was then, this is now. What are you working at to provide?

Were you this worried during the Biden or Obama administration when oil prices were higher?
How about during Covid when many shelves were bare?

Fortunately, I don't have to work for a living. Most of the time, I was living abroad in Europe and Asia as a tourist until December, 2019 when I came home just before Covid broke out. Oil prices did not bother me because I hardly drove except to the store to top up my hoard in the basement that looked like a well-stocked mini Walmart store.

I suffered no problems during covid or during any of the recessions, did you?

I was blessed like you also. People, even my fit 25 year-old car mechanic, were dropping dead around me. I never has any symptoms and took no vaccines. Never had ever since I was born. Mom has no faith in modern medicine. She gave birth to me at home with help from a midwife.

Do what you need to do now in order to relieve your anxiety. Everything will be fine.

I have no anxieties. I am ready to die, man. Great as life has been for me, I don't need the risk exposure. Seen enough.
