Retired U.S. Army Major General: Military officers are refusing to carry out SecDef Hegseth's ILLEGAL orders to target civilian targets in Iran.

Retired Army Major General Randy Manner told MS NOW’s Nicolle Wallace on Tuesday he had secondhand knowledge that military officials were “saying no” to Pentagon leadership.

Manner joined Deadline: White House to discuss the ongoing U.S. military operation in Iran and President Donald Trump’s recent pledge to attack civilian targets in the country if an agreement was not reached by Tuesday night. Wallace asked Manner about Tucker Carlon’s criticism of the president’s threats and his call to those within the administration and military to resign if given an illegal order by Trump.

Unfortunately Trump will now force them to retire and replace them with loyal flunkies.

That's simply how Trump works. There's always someone in the lower ranks to replace. Someone that's loyal. You can even see it in Trump's cabinet members.

@DeWayfarer

If I succeeded Il Duce, I'd restore those fired to active military service at then-existing ranks (and possible promote some of them).

I'd like to see the Democratic presidential nominee pledge to do so.
