The desperate rescue came at a high price to save face. Dozens of aircraft were lost: two transport planes (MC-130J Commando II) and four helicopters (MH-6 Little Birds) were intentionally destroyed to prevent seizure by Iran, one Warthog (attack aircraft) providing covering fire crashed, and two MQ-9 Reaper drones were shot down during the operation. A heavy price to pay for maintaining the appearance of US air superiority.

While Patton was famous for his "indelicate" speak, which was actually toned down for the movie, Trump is no "Patton". This is more the frustration of a schoolboy who cant get his way..And it is playing right in the Iranian narrative. Not that they are the good guys in this.. America went into this holding all the cards, but has an idiot playing "Go Fish" playing the hand..😷
