As an American, I am complicit in the sense that I am sitting on my ass while my mouth is doing all the talking in protesting what the US government does. You have to understand the helpless situation I am in as a citizen of the US. I am just a leg (citizen) on the millipede (US nation). I cannot control the US government anymore than the leg has agency apart from that of the millipede. This idea of democracy is ideological bullshit. It is the same deal in China practicing whatever political idea that they are practicing.
