The Supreme Court has ruled that presidents have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts taken within their core constitutional powers, and presumptive immunity for all other official acts. this covers most of what he does however

They are not immune from prosecution for unofficial, private acts. . so where are the EPSTEIN files .

@markinkansas I can see a legal argument that an act that is using legitimate constitutional powers to govern the nation cannot logically be illegal; and perhaps that's what the Supreme Court had in mind.

Yet are there no constitutional and legal definitions and limits on that immunity, such as invoked under international law and treaties to which the nation is a signatory? Otherwise, "official" on its own could mean, or be used for, almost anything.

I think the Epstein Files morass is going to drag on for a long time yet. The mind-boggling number of them, and the tangled webs of so many people who associated with the man and each other, will see to that. As to where they are... someone must know.

@ArishMell the different people who commit the crime knows. there staff around them knows. money and power is control.. we as you stated might never know who is in those. both red and blue has had those files and no much done so far.. money and power .. and a lot of bad people in them..

@markinkansas What surprises me is the sheer number of documents or images said to exist. Just who created them all and who is "looking after" them?
