This brief exchange sums up tRump's losing case.

Solicitor General SAUER: We're in a new world where 8 billion people are one plane ride away from having a child who's a US citizen.

Chief Justice JOHN ROBERTS: It's a new world. It's the same Constitution.

@ElwoodBlues I hope he is pointing out that the constitution hasn't changed for the times.

No one in their right minds would interpret the constitution the way Trump insanely interprets it. His own trophy wife would have to be deported.
@DeWayfarer Yes, I think that's exactly Roberts' point. The founders gave us a method for changing the Constitution; the anti-14th Amendment crowd need to use that method. No shortcuts.

@newjaninev2 I have been calling for a constitutional convention for decades.

People are afraid of that, and for a good reason. Yet it is totally necessary now.

By this constitution the president has far too much power now. DEI was approved by Congress yet totally wiped out by this president alone. And with his supreme courts blessing. They wouldn't even hear the case.

@DeWayfarer We do not need a Constitutional convention to curb the king. We need to replace the majority party in Congress....vote out anyone who refuses to do their jobs......that has voluntarily given up their own duties and handed those elected duties over to trump in exchange for their turn kneeling in front of him to blow him so he will "like them"..

@anythingoes477 And how do you propose to do that when he has rigged the elections against that?

A ⅔rds majority is needed just to overrule him. He doesn't like what you are doing, he'll veto it or stop it through executive orders. He totally has the judiciary branch under his thumb. With the exception of the supreme Court, he picks them and fires them. As commander in Chief he has the right to declare police actions. All nice and legal under this constitution.

That's too much power!
