In England there is largely freedom of speech. There are no areas where this is not the case. Though some religious groups try to dispute this.
There is a more liberal attitude towards Islamic women wearing a headscarf in the workplace than Christian’s wearing a neckless with a cross or a fish symbol on a jacket. Neither of which are considered necessary symbols of their faith. Though how our moral guardians who sit in the Houses of Parliament come to this conclusion, we can only guess.
