Will Press Conference formats change immediately with Sean Spicer?

Sean Spicer was once a respected member of the press corps. He chewed out all of the press yesterday and refused to take questions.
Senior strategist KellyAnne Conway was infuriated by overdramatizarion by Trump opponents.

Check out the press conference video at 2:20 and tell me if Spicer had a Kiniptian fit with the word "Period"!

Well, this will be an interesting four years, or however long it lasts. It's funny how easily Trump, his spokespeople, and some of his supporters are "triggered", a word a lot of them like to throw at anyone who criticizes or disagrees with them.

It does seem that they have a very narrow view of what is allowed to be communicated. I hate to say this but it seems more "Big Brother" than I have ever seen. Have we all been demoted to the status of Winston Smith as a prole.

@Rutterman: That situation is important to practice vigilance in how familiar institutions are mutated for his purposes. It will take a lot of bravery and integrity to cover cogent immediate issues that affect freedoms that have been taken for granted.

@Pfuzylogic: I can only say that it's as important as ever for the press corps, not to mention the rest of us, to speak truth to power. It will take more courage than ever too, considering the political environment we currently find ourselves in.
