AMERICANS ONLY: Did you know that the Chinese control about 25% of the US pork industry?

Chinese company bought Smithfield in 2013 and immediately gain nearly a quarter of he the pork in the US. How could the US government allow an enemy to get control of that much of our food supply? Would China allow an American company to buy up that much of its food industry?
