Exactly so. Nothing does when it comes to this man. He throws things out for his followers to gobble up without ever considering the consequences. However, you could be right. In his impetuous way, he didn't deliberately set out to distract from the names in the E Files, but some of his acolytes might have jumped on his chaotic ramblings to get some advantage.

@MoveAlong In this respect you are right. He was behaving as politicians do in telling voters what they wanted to hear, while at the same time pretending to be an honest non-politician - exactly as many who haven't yet been elected have done down the years. Ear tickling is a often a winner because we voters often fall for it. ☹

Firstly his organisation puts out emails detailing victims names in full. Ooopsy! Why not the potential abusers? Of course not...they're already blacked out!
Then just leak a few out. Oh look, the Dalia Llama! Oh look, Sarah Ferguson! Oh look...the Clintons!
Then? We hear plenty of mentions of Donald Trump..
Oh look, a war over something that the President just a few short months ago said never existed!
Slight of hand. People see what they want, sweetie! Throw out something new, people don't stick to the plan..the agenda. They don't follow the story and it's on to the next.
The smart people know. They realise the cover up.

And being good followers, you only read and listen to maga news. You don't hear the truth of things.
If trump wasn't exposed in those files, he would have released them, as promised, a year ago.
