I've been saying this for a very long time. This doesn't even say who!
Every time I say who, I get: "that's the price we pay for the conveniences."
In other words they don't care.
There are ways to "minimize" the exposure. Yet you must care even to begin with. It does no good to minimize without recognizing who!
Google aka Alphabet is NOT your friend. And Oracle IS a Chinese front. Not that the other players are much better either. Yet those two are the worst ones.
Google has it's tentacles even into OpenAI. And ancestry.com DNA database is a Oracle database. Your very DNA is already compromised if you have given it to ancestry.com.
Make a law against those two things! The AI itself is just a tool for them to sift through the massive data amounts.

@markinkansas Now ask why Brave is even using AI! It's a chromium based browser BTW
Ignore the security bull! It's not secure because it's chromium based.
Google doesn't have its tentacles into Mozilla... yet! Mozilla won't put an AI in their browsers.
An AI knows any browsers loopholes once its in the browser itself.

Brave is built on Chromium for several reasons, the most significant being:
Compatibility: By using Chromium, Brave ensures compatibility with a vast array of existing web standards and technologies, making it easier for users to access websites without issues.
Performance: Chromium offers a robust and efficient browser engine, contributing to faster load times and better performance overall.
Customizability: While based on Chromium, Brave implements its own privacy-focused features, allowing users to customize their browsing experience.
Open Source: Being built on an open-source platform allows Brave to take advantage of community contributions and improvements made to Chromium.

Mozilla has taken a distinct stance when it comes to incorporating AI directly into their browsers. Unlike some competitors, Mozilla prioritizes user privacy and experience, opting to avoid integrating AI features that might compromise those values. This aligns with their mission to provide a safe and open Internet, where user data is not exploited for profit or manipulation.
