Lockdowns on US military bases

MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL) has already had the base locked down on two occasions this week. Right now that base is open but is on ThreatCon Charlie (next to the highest level).

My wife has a medical appointment this morning at our local base (not MacDill and not in FL) but I would expect a heightened security posture.

Oh joy, hours spent in the queue just to get on the base…. Oh well—I am retired so I have “nothing but time”
