Eh, it does have to with scams. What else could it be called? Maybe the "No Scam Act" instead?

The second part of that bill ..

I feel like I'm 3 feet away from losing my citizenship every damn Monday (I know it's Tuesday).

@Magicianzini I thought it was about deporting naturalized violent criminals? Anyway, I don’t know what it stands for, but the SCAM in the SCAM Act is an acronym, so just name it something that doesn’t create an acronym that makes voters think they’re getting screwed. For example, the Deport Naturalized Violent Criminals Act (DNVC Act). That’s still not a great name, it’s not very memorable, but at least it’s not a name that’s begging for an attack ad.

Given the National Desk’s connection to Sinclair Communications (thus its Trump/GOP bias), I gather that the SCAM Act is most likely a bill I should be opposed to and a bill deserving of the SCAM name anyway. I’m just making this post observing that the messaging here seems politically asinine.
