I would like to say it might have an effect. Yet having been in the military myself, there is far more to this story than it touches.
A more nuanced view would be what happened to the wealthy, when they did serve, yet not in the war zone.
That wasn't even touched in this video. Yet it was a very real issue even in the Vietnam war. I know of those who actually avoided any war positions, because of their own Congress men alone saw to a non war positions for them.
It's who you know, even in the military.
