Reform UK shriek that they're the only ones who want the old UK back. Nope. We ALL do!

We all want same-day GP appointments.
We all want ambulances in minutes.
We all want dentists, a decent police force, good schools, affordable food and clean waterways.

BUT

It's not migrants who are responsible for our country's problems, as Reform claim. It was 14 YEARS of Tory austerity! It's 14 years of corporations being put first, and people being put last.

It's Capitalist GREED.

And Reform are simply an extreme version of the Tories, but backed by billionaires.

Vote Green!

With you all the way...until the last bit.

@FreddieUK Then who should we vote for...? and why not Green?
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@Waveney I would not vote for ReformUK or Conservative ... ever! When it's time to vote in a GE I will look again at what Labour has/hasn't achieved and whether the Greens (who I have voted for in the past as a protest vote) have modified what I consider their dangerous views on defence spending and drug laws. Plenty of time for me to make up my mind.

@FreddieUK The Green's drug laws have been completely and deliberately taken out of context by both labour and the far-right.

@Waveney Happy to have you put them in context for me.

@FreddieUK He means taking control back from gangs, turning it into a medical, public health-led approach. The Greens are saying that the current system just keeps criminal gangs rich and street corners dangerous and by regulating and licensing drugs you treat addiction as a health issue rather than a criminal one, which actually reduces crime and saves lives, as is happening in Portugal.

It just moves the problem off street corners and into doctor's offices. It's a good idea.

@Waveney I am all for a public health-led approach. We had one, alongside laws about supply, at one time. Having worked in the field for 30yrs or more and hearing from advocates of. de-criminalising, legalising and harsher penalties for being an addict, I am very much in favour of de-criminalisation of use (not legalisation) and heavy penalty for supply.

'A good idea' is always a personal judgement.
