Radiation buildup is the problem of any nuclear ships.

Refueling: While necessary to extend operational life, it poses challenges related to radiation safety, necessitating advanced shielding and strict protocols.

Would you risk other's lives in refueling?

I sure wouldn't. Safer to decommission. Though that requires risks, it's by far safer.

You would be literally asking those who do it, to risk a horrible death.

Just as with Fukushima it took years before they could get to that reactor. And it's still happening.

The Navy has been successfully refueling nuclear carriers for over 60 years.

@beckyromero yet never mentions the health of those doing it. That's classified BTW.

Not having enough carriers in time of war is also a health risk.

@beckyromero I would not risk the lives of ANYONE! PERIOD!

Attacking is wrong! It's not defense. An aircariers only purpose is to attack.

There is no such thing as a preemptive strike. It's a attack.

You have the right to defend your home. YES! But not attack your neighbors home or attack someone's home across the whole city.
