So a Kuwaiti pilot downed 3 F 15 Strike Eagles

@Virgo79 Not Patriot Missiles. The aircraft were intact when they hit the ground. A patriot missile would have scattered F 15 and their crew's parts over 100 hectares.

@Virgo79 I have heard reports of 6 aircraft, a destroyer and a tanker. But we are talking bout the three confirmed downings. Patriot missiles carry a large warhead. What struck the three F15s was likely a sidewinder missile which has a much smaller warhead.

@Virgo79 I am going by what the video showed and by what experts in missile tech said. I listened to a former F15 jockey talking about what kind of damage a patriot would do. I have heard others say the same thing. Those experts also said that the missiles that took them down were either sidewinder air to air or Iranian ground to air missiles. One of those experts said that either is possible since the Iranian missiles actually work and the aircraft were in range. I am not expert enough to know so I trust what others say.

@Virgo79 Possibly. I haven't seen video evidence that conclusive. Not saying you are wrong about a ground attack. I simply haven't seen much beyond the contact between the missiles and the aircraft. Impossible to know from those short clips. The experts I listened to were pretty much evenly split so I can't even go by their words.
