Can you name me one policy of Trumps that persecutes women?

To my eyes women are marching around the world against the mans views not his policies. So are they protesting against free speech? Last time I checked America is a free country so what exactly are these women protesting against?

2-2.5 million people turned up for the March all across US. Besides that people in London, Barcelona, Auckland, Brisbane, Paris etc. They gathered peacefully to protest the demeaning, disrespectful, divisive, racist behaviour of a person who took office as the most powerful man in the world now. His cabinet appointees are much the same. So just as Trump has his free speech, others have the equal freedom to express themselves. That's what they did. If the man's thinking reflects on his policy then many more people will gather.

perhaps they could be respectful enough to clean up their mess.
@goliathtree: LOL ... nice

@questionWeaver: And why didn't someone tell me about the free razors?

@goliathtree: you obviously have nothing to contribute as arguments. Regarding the above post maybe you can check that with your mom, and she can tell you about it?

I will contribute my tax dollars to clean up the mess and then I will go to work tomorrow morning perfectly at peace with the choices I have made in life expecting nothing from anyone but completely satisfied with the cabinet choices.
@BigAsset:

Big ... you obviously missed the election

Trump was elected

Just about everybody, in every city, voted against him.

There are no more votes to be found, manufactured or recounted ... against him/us.

He still won

A bunch of people walking around city streets reverses nothing, is not news, and does not distract from this being the largest shift in political power since 1922.

In 2020, the population trend formally adds 8 more electoral votes to the states supporting Trump.

Obviously

@questionWeaver: and you are missing the point that he isn't a popular president, his approval rating is the worst for any incoming president.
@BigAsset:

... in 2,800 of 3,177 counties, 31 of 50 states ... 90% of the territory of America ... he is very popular.

But I will correct myself ...

"His unpopularity ushered in the LARGEST shift of political power since 1922"

LOL ... maybe, if we do a few more recounts!

In 2020, the states that voted against him will lose an additional net 8 electoral votes ... these will go to states that voted for him ... including 3 more for Texas.

Oh well
SW-User
@questionWeaver: tell that to the 65.8 million Americans (48% of the votes).
@BigAsset:

LOL that one is easy Big ... 80% are located in cities the rest in Cali.

It will be the rare day that a Trump supporter and a Hillary supporter end up in the same restaurant.

All those votes and they turned over power in the House, Senate, States, Counties ... is quite amazing.

It is testimony to self-marginalization.

It is not likely that I ever actually meet a Hillary supporter in person.

We will let the anti-Trump people just spin ... they are harmless ... they only have voice in California ... LOL , but we ignore Cali now ... so, no big change.

The burden is on the urban centers to stop mocking people and build political coalitions .. if they want to regain stature.
SW-User
@questionWeaver: last time I checked cities including California were a part of US. And obviously you don't understand the term 'popularity'.
Big ... popularity means nothing, if it does not translate into votes and power.

The burden is entirely on the urban centers to moderate the mocking ... and build coalitions with the people they mock.

Cities have static or declining populations in Blue states ... with current voter activity above 70% ... places like Philly, it is above 100% of the census population.

Population is growing in the red non-urban areas.

The math is not good for big city revival
SW-User
@questionWeaver: lol it means nothing? It means an overwhelming majority rejected Trump. And it's entirely upto Trump and his swamp to turn down the rhetoric and do some work instead of telling blatant lies about everything.
@BigAsset:

Overwhelming ... with what legal means do they use to do this? ... to overwhelm with?

Lets review ...

(1) Get their congressman to pass legislation? ... nope, they lost the house

(2) Get their Senator to offer legislation? ... nope, they lost the senate

(3) Get their Governor to do something? ... lost 31 states .. counting state legislature losses 35 ... factoring in County government losses ... 43 were lost

(4) Appeal to the supreme courts? ... lost that too.

Even California has lost power.

The overwhelming majority is actually the Trump supporters ... they won the largest transfer of political power since 1922.

Trump and Trump supporters won majority control of ALL political categories in the US ... from local councilman, assemblyman, state representative, governor, representative, senator, presidency ... and in a few days ... the supreme court.

Like it or not ... elections mathematically determine who the people want to have in control.

The US populace have now selected GOP candidates OVERWHELMINGLY!

If somebody did not vote ... shame on them!

@questionWeaver: and, if they do not take advantage of the majorities they now have, the pendulum will swing the other way.
