American people destroyed their reputation forever around 2003, but you don't need to talk about what's wrong, there! War on, killers! Y'all don't need alternatives to vote for!

@Roundandroundwego Lets be perfectly honest the Democrats ran a candidate to lose the election. The poor woman never even won a primary when she was running for candidate. That takes a lot of doing. Even her own state didn't vote for her. There were several factors that went in to Trump's election beyond Americans being fooled.

@hippyjoe1955 if Americans didn't want to be aggressive killers, they'd need a third party. They certainly don't.

@Roundandroundwego I agree. The two party system which is actually only one party with two names is not serving the people well.

@hippyjoe1955 I disagree with that! Having met the Americans. They're very pro war, fiercely fascistic, hateful and aggressive.

@Roundandroundwego I have met Americans in both camps. Some of my family live in the US. Some are very pro war and others are very pro peace. I do not classify people by race or region or nationality. Every culture has a variety within it. BTW I usually disagree with my warrior family and support my peace loving family but there are times when I can see the point of the warriors. Not often mind you.... 😉

@hippyjoe1955 I have never met any Americans who wanted peace besides myself; I have met thousands. I have known hundreds intimately. I was prep academy and ivy League educated, my parents were yuppies who moved at least once a year, making me learn to tolerate thousands and thousands of families of Americans. Not one! Some say ", far out", some say "shut up", none ever once said "please, we need to stop the wars!" but me.

@Roundandroundwego OK. I guess we travel in different circles. Did I mention I am Mennonite as is my family?

@hippyjoe1955 I heard that a Quaker family who once visited us in our home had an anti war member, and there was a rumor that one of my grandmother's dead cousins had been an anti war communist. But these were details meant to frighten the children out of making friends easily.
