Why does everyone hates Donald Trump?

Trump hates. And he always has. It's his way or the highway. People act like he just appeared on the scene last year. Trump has been the most hateful candidate of all time. I won't forgive the way he treated his predecessor---he demanded that Obama (who was also legally elected---won the the electoral votes AND the popular vote, unlike himself) show his birth certificate, his college transcripts, etc. How dare he ? And he has a past record of racist offenses, has been sued for all kinds of discrimination as both an employer and as a property owner. The people who voted for him fall into two categories: fellow racists or people who were somehow ignorant of his past.
