Trump Says He Thought Iran Was 'Going to Attack First'
He said that today. So he thinks Iran was powerful enough, having had its air defenses decimated by the summer war, and its offensive capabilities destroyed was about to attack?
“I didn’t want that to happen,” he said. Asked about the notion that Israel’s plans to attack Iran may have forced Trump’s hand, the president responded: “No. I might have forced Israel’s hand.”
That perspective developed during negotiations with Tehran, he said.
“We were having negotiations with these lunatics,” he said, referring to Iran. “It was my opinion that they were going to attack first.”
I guess MAGAs will believe that. Look at them on SW lapping it up.
