Pete Hegseth's Pastor is Calling for Christian Theocracy

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmvxOtKAsTk]

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth continues to align with and platform Christian nationalist Pastor Doug Wilson, who promotes theocracy, endorses slavery, and doesn't believe in equal rights for women. Skye Jethani and Drew Dyck point out how problematic it is for a senior government official to endorse these un-American beliefs, and they also explore why this type of fundamentalism is rising in popularity today.

My comments:

Doug Wilson sounds more like a misogynistic paranoid drinking buddy to Kegsbreath than a legitimate pastor!

We the People must be prepared for armed self- defense against aggressive fascists dictators.
@badminton I don’t—and won’t—support armed rebellion.

However, when masked thugs are breaking into our homes and literally kidnapping our families, transporting them across state lines, with ZERO due process that is just thuggery and if there is any justification for a “stand your ground law, that’s it!

Make no mistake about it—when our rights to peaceably assemble to protest, our free speech, the freedom of the press, the respect of all religions not just Judaism & Christianity, the right for lawful oversight of detention centers, etc. are not being respected, when protesters are tear gassed or shot with “non lethal rounds” and legitimate law enforcement officers are not responding by arresting these thugs then this fake government is illegitimate and they’ll reap the consequences of the seeds they have sown.

@KunsanVeteran Self- defense is not aggression.
@badminton Never said it was.

But, personally, I would prefer seeing our legitimate civilian law enforcement arrest, charge, and hold accountable these thugs.

And, if not, then the Governors need to be calling up the National Guard to enforce the laws. Because the courts aren’t having much luck!

(Although I respect the legitimate efforts by many judges to do so)
